Who We Are
Yakthung Chumlung Association of Calgary (YCAC) is a non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to supporting the Limbu community in Calgary, Canada. Our mission is to promote, preserve, and protect our unique heritage, culture, and language, and to foster unity among Yakthung families and friends.
What We Do
- Host cultural events and festivals (Chasok Tangnam, New Year, etc.)
- Support newcomers with settlement resources and guidance
- Promote Limbu language and traditions to the next generation
- Organize community service, charity, and youth activities
